Festival season in Montreal has officially kicked off, and this year's Osheaga lineup has us plotting our schedule. The festival's 19th edition—held from July 31 to August 2—will be headlined by Twenty One Pilots, Tate McRae, and Lorde, while also featuring artists including The xx, Empire of the Sun, Turnstile, Kehlani, Zara Larsson, Wet Leg, Wolf Parade, and Franz Ferdinand. In other words: whether your playlists skew pop, indie, electronic, or somewhere gloriously in between, you're probably covered.

While there are plenty of chart-toppers to satisfy every palate, the 2026 festival features some gold for fans who dare to dig and indulge their curiosities. Dance music is especially well represented, with artists like Brutalismus 3000, KETTAMA, horsegiirL, VTSS, and BAMBII bringing a welcome dose of club energy to the weekend. For those who prefer less oontz and more atmosphere, consider falling under the spell of Oklou's avant-pop or bobbing along to British indie favourites Bar Italia and Wunderhorse.

And as we continue to manifest that summer '26 will match the vibes of summer '16, we rejoice in the fact that Osheaga peppers both emerging acts and beloved returnees into the mix. After recently returning to the live music circuit, foundational indie trio The xx will grace the Osheaga stage, while Franz Ferdinand and Empire of the Sun promise the kind of late-2000s and early-2010s nostalgia that hits oh-so-hard.

Whether you're looking to get down or simply vibe the long weekend away, Osheaga 2026 is set to balance arena-sized spectacle with plenty of opportunities for discovery. With 87 artists scheduled across three days, chances are your favourite set of the weekend won't be the one you planned for.
